Houston offers many free to low cost attractions for families in and around downtown. Right next to our hotel, we have   Discovery Green, a free park with green space, playground and water park.  Head 5 minutes west to reach the Aquarium and the signature Ferris Wheel. 


South of downtown is Houston's Museum District featuring  21+ museums 

Houston offers many free to low cost attractions for families in and around downtown. Right next to our hotel, we have   Discovery Green, a free park with green space, playground and water park.  Head 5 minutes west to reach the Aquarium and the signature Ferris Wheel. 


South of downtown is Houston's Museum District featuring  21+ museums including Children’s Museum, Museum of African American History, Museum of Natural History which includes a butterfly conservatory. Hermann Park and the Houston Zoo is right next door for you to enjoy paddle boating or a small train ride. Artechouse, Meow-Wolf interactive exhibit, Putt Shack and Balloon Museum also offer fun amenities for teens close to downtown.

Summer time means baseball AND pro-soccer for which Houston has a MLS and NWLS teams. Both stadiums are a short rail ride away from our lodging! If you want to keep active outdoors for youself, check out  Buffalo Bayou Park or Memorial Park Conservancy offering trails, an outdoor track, cisterns and skate parks. For an active evening thro
